Lancaster Painting is hiring a Commercial Sales Representative to grow our commercial and property-management business across California's Central Valley. This is an outside sales and business development role built for someone who loves making connections, opening doors, and turning relationships into long-term accounts.

What You'll Do
- Develop new commercial business by prospecting and connecting with HOAs, property managers, building owners, and commercial/industrial facilities (including tilt-up buildings)
- Generate leads through outreach calls, emails, networking, and in-person meetings
- Travel within your sales territory to meet prospects and customers face-to-face
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts and increase sales performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat clients
- Present and sell our commercial painting and floor-coating services
- Participate in community-building and networking activities
- Respond to customers promptly and professionally, and keep accurate records of leads and accounts
- Represent Lancaster Painting as a trusted, professional partner in the community
What We're Looking For
- Outside sales experience, ideally in a B2B or commercial environment
- A natural relationship-builder who's respected for strong people skills and a commitment to excellent service
- Confident at prospecting, overcoming objections, and asking for the sale
- Results-driven and self-motivated, with the discipline to manage your own schedule and pipeline
- Eager to grow, learn the business, and play an active role on a competitive, supportive team
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable with everyday business tools (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Mail/Calendar, etc.)
- Able to commit roughly 40 to 50 hours per week to the role
A plus, but not required: a college degree and painting/coatings or construction industry knowledge.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a performance-driven role with an uncapped commission structure and a draw on commission. Earnings range from $40,000 to $100,000+ depending on experience, with commission and monthly bonus potential. After a couple of years of learning the business, top performers can reach six figures.
