Social Media & Event Coordinator - Dental office

The social media & Event Coordinator is responsible for showcasing the dental office’s brand, culture, and patient experience through strategic social media content and well-organized community events. This role supports patient engagement, practice growth, and brand awareness by creating high-quality content, highlighting dental services, and coordinating both in-office and community events.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

• Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar tailored to dental services, patient education, and office culture.

• Create engaging posts, stories, reels, and videos showcasing treatments, technology, staff highlights, patient testimonials (with consent), before-and-after cases, and promotions.

• Capture and edit photos/videos chairside (when appropriate), during procedures (with consent), and throughout daily office activities.

• Respond to messages, comments, and patient inquiries professionally and promptly.

• Monitor online reviews (Google, Yelp, Facebook) and assist with reputation management.


Event Coordination

• Plan and execute patient appreciation events, office open houses, holiday celebrations, and educational community events.

• Coordinate event logistics including timelines, vendors, invitations, décor, giveaways, and onsite presence.

• Promote events using social media, email newsletters, and in-office marketing materials.

• Attend events to ensure smooth flow and capture content for future digital use. Marketing & Brand Support 

• Maintain a consistent, professional brand image that reflects the office’s values and patient care standards.

• Assist with creating digital and print materials such as flyers, brochures, and promotional posts.

• Highlight new services, special offers, and dental technology in creative and easy-to-understand ways.

• Support local outreach efforts and build relationships with nearby businesses, schools, and community organizations.

• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure accurate representation of procedures and dental terminology.


Qualifications

• Experience in social media management, marketing, or event coordination (dental or healthcare experience is a plus).

• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Business.

• Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills and comfort creating dental-related educational content.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Professional, friendly demeanor with the ability to represent the dental office positively.

• Ability to work occasional weekends or evenings for events. 


Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a dental or medical office setting.

• Knowledge of dental terminology and patient communication standards.

• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines for patient content and consent.

• Experience with CRM or patient communication platforms (Solutionreach, Weave,etc.).


Work Environment

• Fast-paced dental office with a collaborative team atmosphere.

• Mix of administrative tasks, creative work, and event participation inside and outside the office
