Emanuel Medical Center invites community members and their families to attend its free Harvest Health Fair on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hospital campus. This family-friendly event will combine health education, wellness resources, and seasonal fun to help residents take charge of their health while enjoying a festive fall atmosphere.
Free health tests will include blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), non-fasting cholesterol and glucose, vision, and anxiety and depression screenings. Attendees can also participate in CPR and first aid education, receive flu vaccinations, and explore ambulances and a medical helicopter.
With a Halloween-themed twist, children are encouraged to wear costumes and enjoy trick-or-treating at vendor booths throughout the event. Families can also enjoy bounce houses, giveaways, food and drinks, and other activities designed to make health and wellness engaging and accessible.
